If you don’t want to waste your time by comparing options and want to sure about RO (Reverse Osmosis) then the Home Master TMHP HydroPerfection is the best option for you. In it, there are total 9 stages of filters. The output of the system is 75 gallons of water per day which is due to the permeate pump. This permeate pump also reduces the water waste which is needed to flush the membrane. Just 1 gallon of water is wasted for producing 1 gallon of purified water.
There is a remineralization filter which raises the pH level of water to more alkaline by adding safe minerals back into the water.

Cleaning efficiency of Home Master TMHP HydroPerfection
There is UV light in the system which is capable of killing 99.8% of microorganism from water that may contaminate water. There is a low level of microorganism in municipal water sources but water from the well and other natural sources may have higher levels. For such water from natural resources, UV filters are highly recommended. This is a need to consider that a 110V power outlet is required by UV filters.
The rate of purified water produced by TMHP per day is 75 gallons with an addition of an upgraded faucet. The system now uses larger tubing which is 3/8” in diameter. Due to this larger tubing, the flow rate of water is increased and speed of purified water which reaches the faucet also increases.
Great-tasting and Clean Water
The Home Master HydroPerfection uses purification, sterilization, enhancement and nine stages of filtration to produce water which is exceptionally clean. It is capable of removing 98% of chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, chloramines, iron, pharmaceuticals chemicals and other harmful contaminants which are dissolved in water. The dissolved iron can be commonly found in water from the well which is capable to destroy the membrane of the reverse osmosis. But there is no need to worry about this because the Home Master HydroPerfection has superior iron pre-filter which contains redox media KDF85, which is very advanced. This acts as a catalyst which removes the dissolved iron from the water.
A powerful catalytic carbon filtration is also used by this mixed media pre-filter which removes the chemicals like herbicides, pesticides, and chloramines. The UV light sterilization chamber is able to destroy 99.99% of viruses, germs, bacteria, and other microorganisms. This results in great testing of water which is exceptionally pure.
In the carbon pre-filter, a powerful catalytic carbon filtration media is used by all the Home Master RO system to treat with the chloramine which is very persistent chemical. Such type of stubborn contaminant is not removed by ordinary carbon filters.
With the “Full Contact” remineralization system, the Home Master HydroPerfection prevent this to occur. The pH level of water is balanced by this system at two different points during purification. When water travels through the storage tank then the first remineralization occurs and when water flows to the faucet then the second remineralization occurs. This makes the water slightly alkaline and prevents the tank from degradation. A small amount of calcium and magnesium about 30-60 mg/l combined to the water through the natural process at both remineralization point.
Modular Filter Design
In most of the traditional RO system, you can change only the filter and not the filter housing. This is the significant problem in most of the traditional RO system. The canisters will weaken over time due to the accumulation of microorganisms, sediment, and biofilm. And due to this, the canister will begin to leak. This causes serious water damage and also repairing of this is costly. But modular design is used by Home Master’s innovative filters and due to this, you can dispose of the entire filter. This reduces biofilm buildup and accumulation of microorganisms which help to eliminate the leaks. You can change the filter once in a year or when it purifies 2,000 gallons of water.
UV Light Power
There are many advantages to fighting microorganisms by using an ultraviolet light filter. You can eliminate the viruses without using harmful chemicals by using UV light which is also more effective than chlorine. Water is treated by UV light immediately without affecting the water contents. A light wave of 254 um is used to bombard on the water when it enters the UV sterilization. And this wave penetrates the cell wall of living organisms and leave them neutralized.
UV technology is one of the four approved water sterilization methods as recognized by EPA. It gives instantaneous results so it is the most recommended method and also it does not leave any type of residuals of chemicals in the water. The Home Master HydroPerfection module operates at 17,000 microwatt seconds/cm for a full year. This system is able to remove 60 different types of bacteria, viruses, germs, and other types of organisms.
Design of Filtration System
Due to the modular filter design of the Home Master TMHP HydroPerfection system, it becomes easier to change the filter elements. Each filter is placed in their own housing, due to this, housing is changed when we change the filter. Due to this, the problem of the systems that keeps the same housing has been solved and since by removing debris with the help of filter, there are chances that they can remain in the housing and due to this life of filter may reduce and may also damage the housing of the system.
While replacing the filters, there is also no need for any tool because you have to only push the new filter in by pulling out the old filter. You can change the filter at least once a year.

The Home Master TMHP HydroPerfection wastes only 1 gallon of water for producing 1 gallon of purified water. So due to this, this is one of the most efficient systems. The waste of water is dependent on the pressure at which water is entering the system. If water pressure is high then less water will be wasted. The waste of water is created because of the use of pre-filtered water for cleaning the filter membranes by the RO system. But due to the presence of the permeate pump, waste of water is decreased because the pressure of water is increased and efficiency is also increased.
Installation Home Master TMHP HydroPerfection Filter
Anyone with basic DIY skills is able to install the Home Master TMAFC system and so there is no need for a professional plumber to install it.
During the whole installation process, drilling a hole for the pure water faucet in the sink top is potentially the most difficult part. But a hole is there for a hand sprayer or a soap dispenser then this is not necessary to drill a hole.
There is owner’s manual with full installation instruction can be found here and also there is instruction on how to connect feed pipes and drainage pipes. You can also watch their series of videos on the installation of this system. It is worth to spend some time to watch the installation video as there are some clarifications of the manual instructions.
- Filter installation introduction video (Click here to watch this)
- Faucet installation video
- Fitting the feed water adaptor video
- Fitting the drain saddle video
You have to check the section 3a of the instruction manual as permeate pump installation is not included in the video instructions.
- Mounting of the RO unit video
- Final assembly video
There are no instructions is included for UV unit so take help from instruction manual in section 8. This need to keep in mind that UV unit requires 110V outlet.
Conclusion – Home Master Undersink RO Water Filter
Second highest ranking is scored by the Home Master TMHP HydroPerfection Reverse Osmosis Filter System among all the RO systems. It is highly rated and popular because its water waste is very little and there is the permeate pump. It also remineralizes the water along with destroying the microorganisms. Its filter has the longest life and it is easy to maintain it. If you are looking for a system which can provide safest, best-tasting, and cleanest water, then this system is for you!
